So we may be starting a new trend here. This is a classic chocolate chip cookie with the rich flavors of Calicutts Vanilla Bean Sugar. But, that is not that trend. While this is a die-for cookie, it also is a fun one to look at. Simply scoop with a miniature ice cream scoop for that look of baked cookie dough scoops. Either way, save some for yourself because they will be gone before you blink!
Ingredients
- 1 C Butter, softened
- ½ C Sugar, granulated
- ½ C Calicutts Vanilla Bean Sugar
- 1 C Brown sugar, light
- 2 Eggs
- 3 C All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 C Chocolate chips, semi-sweet
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a stand mixer or large bowl with hand mixer, combine butter and sugars until creamed, about 1-2 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy, about 1 minute. Slowly add dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, making sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl every now and again. When incorporated, add chocolate chips.
- Using a small cookie ice cream scoop or spoon, scoop an overflowing amount of cookie dough and place onto baking sheet. Repeat placing dough approximately 2” apart. Bake in heated oven for 8-10 minutes until just barely brown. Let rest for 2 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
