Sweet & Smoky Pulled Pork BBQ

Nothing screams fall or football more than pulled pork BBQ. There is something about the slow roasting of the goodness of pork in fresh apple cider smothered with the flavors of smoked paprika, honey, maple sugar, and rosemary found in Calicutts’ Sweet & Smoky BBQ Spice Blend. So, whether this is for your football spread or backyard bonfire, get ready to eat up with only the clean-up of your crockpot!



  1. Place apple cider in the bottom of a crock-pot or slow-cooker followed by the pork shoulder, fat cap on top.
    Note: if you have string around the pork shoulder, remove it.
  2. Top with Sweet and Smoky BBQ.
  3. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. In the last 30 minutes, pull meat off bone and shred using two forks.
  4. Serve hot.
