Garden Citrus Smashed Potatoes

Baked potatoes can be more than just butter, salt, and pepper. Change it up with smashed potatoes, olive oil, and Calicutts Garden Citrus spice blend. The notes of citrus and herbs paired with the soft and crisp textures of the potatoes make this a perfect pairing with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.



  1. In a large stock pot filled halfway with water, bring to boil and liberally salt water with kosher salt. Add potatoes and boil for 15 minutes or until tender, strain, and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Drizzle a baking sheet with 1 Tbsp olive oil, spread around with hand. Line potatoes up 4 x 3. With a strong fork or potato smasher, press down the center to smash each potato.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over top. Using a basting brush make sure the entire potato has a nice coating. Sprinkle Garden Citrus. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
